Everyone knows Westport is beautiful during the day, especially in the summer months. But getting out at dusk, and photographing into the night. can reveal a stunning picture rarely captured these parts. The water becomes still, reflecting the dim last light before the sun sets over the mountain. Street lights start to wake, casting their spotlights from the posts they hang. Cars even seem to slow, and if you are patient enough, you can catch their light trails much like the shooting stars in the sky.
It’s easy to lose track of time when photographing at night, but let’s be honest, time really doesn’t matter when the world is this peaceful.
