My 100 & Me [Week 40]

These photos were taken back a couple of months ago when Spring was just starting to peek through the ground, reawakening the life that had been hibernating for many months before. Spring is always an interesting time for me in that I find the baron grounds, the dried up leaves and the death and destruction that comes with winter so unique in the textures and layers it produces. And then to see new growth coming through, making it’s way towards the warm sunshine creates all these hopeful scenes before me.

I think that’s why some of these photos look better in colour and others in black and white. I’ve never been married to one process or the other, they both have their place in telling stories.

One thing’s for certain, Tett House and our property certainly is beautiful in any season I photograph it in.
