Cutting Snowy Trails

I received a text early this morning from a friend and fellow local business owner:

“Beautiful day for winter photo capture!”

It sure was, but after spending 2-1/2 hours shovelling a path to get the garbages out, then shovelling to the cars, clearing the cars off, then shovelling again to clear the dropped snow from said cars, then snow blowing the area where we park, I was pooped. And can you imagine what it would have been like if we didn’t already have someone come and plow the driveway? I’d probably still be out there.

So, I missed the opportunity to photograph the snowy trees and how beautiful it was out this morning.

But the amazing part about being a full time photographer is that I had some snowy photos that I haven’t shared yet. These were taken back in February, and I must remember to use them as a reminder to get back out to the Westport Trailhead and take a hike out to Old Bob’s again. The views are stunning and should not be overlooked when coming to Westport. Foley Mountain is beautiful and is really the default response but Old Bob’s Lookout is a close second.

Enjoy the photos from my archive.
